Our Fishing Trips
We offer a variety of fishing trips such as salmon, halibut,
ling cod, bottom fishing, and two or three day albacore tuna
trips. Our fishing trips all depart from Float 6 on Westhaven
Drive in Westport, Washington. All fishing gear is provided
for all of our trips, and is included in our prices. You may
bring your own gear if you wish, but storage space is at a
premium so we ask that you bring no more than two setups (rods
& reels).
It’s a good idea to bring raingear and boots as the
weather on the ocean can be quite different from land. Usually
cooler, so wearing layers works best. You may bring whatever
you would like to eat or drink (preferably no glass containers!).
Coffee and fresh water are provided.
Our prices include bait, gear, and sales tax. We prefer cash,
but do accept checks, Visa and MasterCard. Derby tickets are
available on the boat. If you need your
Washington State Saltwater Fishing License, you will need
to pick that up ahead of time at your local sporting goods
store or at any one of the charter offices in Westport. We
do not have them on the boat.

Salmon Fishing Trips
The annual salmon regulations
are not set until mid-April, but we are usually allowed
to catch both Chinook (Kings) and Coho (Silvers), one
of each or two Coho. This trip leaves the dock at 6 a.m.
Please be on board the boat at least 45 minutes prior
to departure.
Prices for Salmon Fishing
are $125, Monday-Thursday (Fridays, too, if open); $140
on Saturdays (if open) and Sundays. |
Bottom Fishing Trips
Bottom Fish and Ling Cod
open in Mid-March. Our Bottom Fishing trips leave the
dock at 7 a.m. Please be on the boat by 6:15 a.m. This
trip is usually 8-10 hours long. We go for limits on Bottom
Fish first, and time and weather permitting, we try for
ling cod. Price for Bottom
Fishing is $125 per person. |

Halibut
Trips- These trips leave the dock at
4:30 a.m. Please be on board by 4 a.m. They are approximately
10-12 hours long. We usually have to run about 30 miles
offshore for these. If the halibut are biting, people
are catching, and we get our limit early, we will try
to pick up some ling cod and/or bottom fish. Of course,
the weather and ocean conditions will play a part of
that also.
The price for the halibut,
ling cod, or black cod trip is $250 per person.
We won’t know the exact halibut dates until sometime
in January, but we suspect it will be Sundays and Tuesdays
only in May.

Albacore Tuna Trips
We offer both 2- and 3-day tuna trips. ALL tuna trips
leave the dock at 8 p.m. Check in time is at 7p.m. Usually,
you may begin loading your things at 6 p.m. unless the
skipper or deckhand lets you know otherwise.

Our two-day trip leaves
Float #6 about 8 p.m. We run during the night to be on
the fishing grounds by daybreak, wide awake and ready
to fish. We fish until dark, sometimes a little longer
if the fish are still biting, and then we settle down
for some food and much-needed sleep. At daybreak, again,
we are up and fishing. We only fish until about 9 or 10
a.m. depending on how far it is back to the dock. We like
to be back at the dock by 2 p.m. The
price for this trip is $605 per person.
Our three-day trip leaves Float #6 at 8 p.m. also. It
is just like the 2-day trip, but you get one more day
of fishing in. The price
for this trip is $735 per person.
Sometimes, you will fill the fish hold before
the scheduled return time. When this happens, we will
return early.
REQUIRED: 2-DAY OR 3-DAY
WA STATE SALTWATER FISHING LICENSE—don’t forget!!
